Michelle joined the SNIHP lab in the summer of 2022 as a staff research associate who previously came from an animal model lab investigating HIV latency at UCLA’s Aids Institute. As the lab’s data manager, she is responsible for handling all data that is collected during participant visits, ensuring questionnaire and data software’s are executing properly, as well as maintaining consistent scheduling of study participants and overall efficient functioning of the lab in general. Michelle graduated from UCLA in 2021 with a bachelors in Cognitive Science and plans to specialize in the field of data science to bridge the gap between artificial intelligence and neuroscience.
